Bringing the Past to the People: Moving Image Research Collections at USC
With over 26 million feet of film (6,000 hours of unique content) and a mission to preserve and make accessible this celluloid past, Moving Image Research Collections is one of the largest public film archives in North America. This talk will provide an overview of the film archive, highlighting core collections like Fox Movietone News, explaining our service oriented mission, and introducing our newest collection–its a big one!
