Sara Hummel Rajca has joined the SmartPower team as a Solarize South Carolina Community Outreach Manager in Columbia, South Carolina. She, along with Lauren Ellison Fox, will be working with community leaders to implement our Solarize program.

Sara brings to SmartPower a wealth of experience in solar energy and community outreach.  Among other roles, she has served as the Director of Partnerships and Outreach for the South Carolina Wildlife Federation as well as the Solar Outreach Coordinator for former US Representative Gabrielle Giffords.  Sara currently serves as a Board Member for the South Carolina Solar Council.

The Solarize South Carolina campaign recently launched in the Charleston area and will be expanding to the Columbia area under Sara’s guidance.

The meeting will be held Friday, Dec. 4th at 1 p.m. at the Columbia Metropolitan Convention Center in the Carolina Room.
