Dr. Nancy R. Buchan is the Associate Dean of Undergraduate Programs and an Associate Professor of International Business at the Darla Moore School of Business at the University of South Carolina.  Her research focuses on trust in cross-cultural relationships and cross-cultural communication and interaction styles.  Her work has been published in the Proceedings of the National Academy of Science, the American Economic Review, the American Journal of Sociology, Psychological Science, the Journal of Consumer Research, the Journal of International Business Studies, and others.  She has served on the Editorial Board of the Journal of International Business Studies and Organizational Behavior and Human Decision Processes.   She earned a PhD is from the Wharton School and a Masters in International Administration from the Lauder Institute, both at the University of Pennsylvania, and a Bachelor’s degree from the University of Wisconsin – Madison.
