Briefing on the Good Work of Epworth’s Children’s Home

The speaker for the Club’s September 21, 2012 meeting was Mitzie Schafer, Development Director for Epworth Children’s Home.

Mitzie gave a fascinating talk about the work of Epworth and thanked the Club for its financial support of Epworth in the most recent grant cycle.   After the meeting Mitzie emailed the following information that she asked be shared with the Club:

“Thanks Toby and Bill for the opportunity to tell their stories and for your financial support. You are a gift!  If your group is ever looking for volunteer opportunities we have three events coming up in the spring they might enjoy. They are listed below, and if anyone would like more information I am happy to talk with them, or they can find us on the web at www.epworthchildrenshome.org or on facebook. Thank you again. Mitzie”
